What is UrbanBound?

If your employer partners with UrbanBound, that’s good news for you! It means your employer cares about your relocation experience. Moving can be stressful, but UrbanBound hopes to make it a little easier!

With UrbanBound’s software and services, we help you better understand and utilize your relocation benefits, as well as provide education about your new city and help you manage your budget. UrbanBound works together with your employer to ensure you’re connected with the right resources and vendors for a successful relocation.

How do I log in and activate my account?

Your employer will invite you to join UrbanBound. Once invited, you will receive an activation email prompting you to log in to UrbanBound’s portal. If you have questions about when you will be invited, please contact your employer.

I’ve logged innow what do I do?

Once logged in, you should be prompted to complete a brief questionnaire about your moving needs. The answers will be shared with your designated Relocation Consultant, who will explain the relocation benefits offered by your employer and help identify appropriate suppliers (moving companies, short term housing, etc.) for your move.

Who is my Relocation Consultant?

Once you’ve activated your account and filled out your Move Profile, you will be prompted to schedule a call with your designated Relocation Consultant. Your Relocation Consultant is there to help you understand your relocation benefits and provide guidance, advice, and updates throughout your move. Should any issues arise, your Relocation Consultant will act as your advocate and help resolve any problems. You may call or email them at any time, but please note, they have limited availability outside of normal business hours.

What is included in my relocation package?

Your relocation benefits are specific to you and your company. Your company will share with you what is included in your relocation package. Once you’ve activated your profile, you can view your relocation package details by clicking on “What’s Included”. Your Relocation Consultant can answer any further questions you have about your benefits and help you determine how best to utilize them.

If you have any further questions about the specifics of your relocation, please reach out to your designated Relocation Consultant. They will do their best to respond to you as soon as possible. Their standard hours are Monday - Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Central. However, if immediate assistance is needed, you can call their direct line and mention the urgency. If you misplace their contact information, it can be found in the upper right hand corner of your UrbanBound portal.

If you don’t have access to UrbanBound and have not been assigned a Relocation Consultant yet, please contact your employer. Your employer is responsible for inviting you to join UrbanBound. Once invited, you will receive an email with your login information.
